Piedmont Barbera Tenuta Carretta

Piedmont Barbera D.O.C.

The grapes for this Piedmont Barbera are hand-harvested and selected in the southern viticultural zones of the region. The vineyards are on medium-high hills with excellent zonal exposure. The soils are rich in a mixed structure of marl clay and marl limestone.

The grapes are brought to the winery in shallow crates, where they are carefully destemmed and gently pressed. Maceration takes place for 10-15 days in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25°C. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for 6-12 months in stainless steel tanks.

The color of this Piedmont Barbera is radiant purple.

In the nose, the wine offers a very fruity bouquet with fresh fruity and floral notes.

On the palate, the wine is fruity, fresh, mineral and harmonious, with pleasant tannins and a balanced structure.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
