Verduzzo Berto & Fiorella

Verduzzo I.G.T.

Berto & Fiorella's Verduzzo is characterized by its unique properties, derived from the eponymous Verduzzo grape. The grapes are harvested in the second and third 10 days of September and then undergo careful vinification.

After delicate destemming, the grapes are macerated in the press for about 12 hours to extract aroma, color and structure from the skins. They are then gently pressed and the resulting must is clarified. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats.

After fermentation, the wine is kept on the lees for three months in stainless steel containers, adding to its complexity and texture. The bottled wine is stored in temperature-controlled rooms.

The Verduzzo has a golden yellow color and a generous, fresh and attractive aroma. It is reminiscent of acacia flowers, honey and roasted dried fruits. The palate is rich, full and long-lasting, with subtle tannins that mingle with fruity notes of juicy apricot, peach and honey that fade into floral notes.
